Ludington, Michigan
I have a friend who spends every single summer in Michigan.
She escapes the 90-plus-degree Arkansas heat and heads north to enjoy breezy, easy days by the sea-like lake at a little resort called Epworth near the town of Ludington. This year, she had some spare beds, so three others and I jumped at the chance to join her in her favorite place.
